Cultural Studies, Minor
The Cultural Studies Minor provides students with an understanding of human experience through the critical analysis of contemporary and historical material expressions—objects, communities and identities, media, institutions, technologies, and environments—of the social world. It provides you with a critical perspective on a world in flux and on the future that you will be called upon to create. The Minor in Cultural Studies strengthens a student’s grasp of the dynamics of social life and develops their ability in critical analysis and its application in the arts, architecture, design, and the liberal arts. Students develop insight into how fields of scholarship and modes of creative expression emerge, influence each other, and change.
